Lion Richard, aka SaltyDawg, is a member of the Meredith Lions Club in New Hampshire. Lion Richard has been a member since 1983. He is married to Lion Janice (Jan). His birthdate is September 30th. He has also served his District for 2 years as Zone Chairman, 1 year as Region Chairman, as Vice District Governor 1999-2000 and District Governor 2000-2001. He is currently serving as Adminstrative Director of the Summer Camp. He has worked with LionsQuest for over 9 years. He is also currently the Leo Club advisor for his district and the Multiple District Chairman for Leo Clubs. Lion Richard has attended 3 Lions Camp Conferences, 4 USA/Canada Leadership Forums, and 8 Lions International Conventions. Lion Salty states that he has no particular hobbies, but has a suitcase full of pins but is not a pin trader yet. Lion Salty's main point of interest is working with young people. He has been a leader, councilor, council traniner, and community chairman in the Girl Scouts for over 25 years. His main drive is to get his districts Lions Camp (Camp Pride) ready for its 14th season. This will be Lion Richard's last year as the "live-in" administrative director at the camp. He states "I enjoy the work but they must find someone younger for the job in 2003." Lion Richard has been a Red Cross Water Saftey, CPR, First Aid and Canoe instructor.
